As a full-stack web developer, Betsy specializes in JavaScript, CSS, Python, and Craft CMS. For more than fifteen years, she's collaborated with developers, designers, UXers, and product owners to create websites & apps across a wide variety of industries. She's especially interested in developing user-friendly, accessible, and culturally conscious software.

She wrote about serendipitously stumbling into web development in Coding For Artists, and was invited to speak as a panelist at the events #ilooklikeadeveloper and Intersection of Design & Technology. 

Currently, she is the Associate Director of Development at Firebelly Design, where she builds beautiful sites alongside a team who's passionate about great design & social progress. She was part of the award-winning team that produced the new branding & website for ART on THE MART.
