About
Through personal essay, Betsy explores motherhood, sports, trauma, and identity. Her piece, How to Soften a Fall: On Brokenness & Recovery, was selected by Roxane Gay for publication in The Butter, the essay series of the much-beloved, sadly now-defunct The Toast. In it, she wrote about fracturing her neck in gymnastics, abuse in the sport & in relationships, and generational trauma.
